Los Tucanes de Tijuana

Tijuana's globally renowned, award-winning Los Tucanes de Tijuana are firmly rooted in the Mexican norteño tradition. The band was founded in Tijuana, Baja California in 1987. They, along with Los Tigres del Norte, were pioneers in playing their music in a rougher manner as opposed to the traditional norteño music of northeastern Mexico, subsequently influencing many other norteño artists from Mexico’s pacific states and giving that region of the country its signature norteño sound. Los Tucanes have issued more than 60 albums and 75 singles, resulting in sales of more than 15 million records, many of them certified gold, platinum, or multi-platinum. Among their best-known outings are 1995's classic Mundo de Amor, 2007's El Papa de Los Pollitos, and 2010's La Arbol. In 2019 they became the first regional Mexican music group to perform at the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival, held in Indio, California, and have also participated in important musical events in their native country and in other territories like Vive Latino and Pa'l Norte festivals.

Tickets for Los Tucanes de Tijuana will go on sale Friday, March 29th at 10:00 AM. Tickets can be purchased at the United Wireless Arena box office or online through Ticketmaster.com. Ticket prices are $60, $75, $90, $110, or $135 depending on location, plus applicable fees and taxes. United Wireless Arena is an exclusive Ticketmaster facility and cannot guarantee tickets purchased as resale or through a third-party vendor. Doors will open one hour before showtime.
