ABOUT FOGHAT:
It is 2026 and after 55 years, Foghat is still going as strong as ever! Last year, they celebrated 50 years of “Slow Ride,” the timeless anthem that put them on the global map and has not let up since.

Born in 1971 when Roger Earl and Lonesome Dave Peverett left Savoy Brown to carve their own path, Foghat quickly found their groove—and fans found a band they could crank up loud and boogie too. It all exploded in 1975 with Fool for the City, their double-platinum masterpiece featuring the now-legendary track “Slow Ride.” Just two years later, Foghat Live went multi-platinum and cemented their rep as one of rock’s most electrifying live bands.

Half a century later, Foghat is still riding high. Their latest album, Sonic Mojo, dropped in November 2023 and blasted straight to #1 on the Billboard Blues Chart, staying in the Top 10 for 34 weeks. Critics raved about the record’s blend of blues, boogie, and rock swagger, with standout praise for slide guitar ace Bryan Bassett, powerhouse lead singer/guitarist Scott Holt, groove-master bassist Rodney O’Quinn, and the relentless force behind the kit—founding drummer Roger Earl.

Rock and Blues Muse hailed the band’s ability to breathe new life into the blues. Blues Rock Review scored Sonic Mojo a 9/10, spotlighting Bassett’s searing guitar work. 100% Rock Magazine praised their precision and swagger, while Front Row Report called the album “a blast of fun, perfect for any road trip.”

Foghat’s fanbase now spans generations. Whether you first heard “Slow Ride” blasting from your older brother’s stereo, playing on Guitar Hero III, or scoring scenes in Dazed & Confused or Top Gun: Maverick, the band’s infectious energy keeps pulling people in. Boomers to Gen Z, everyone shows up for the party—and Foghat brings it every single night.

The current lineup is a mix of legacy and fresh fire:

Roger Earl – Founding drummer and heartbeat of the band.
Bryan Bassett – Slide guitar master (Wild Cherry, Molly Hatchet) Foghat member for over 30 years
Rodney O’Quinn – Thunderous low end and vocals, formerly of the Pat Travers Band.
Scott Holt – Former Buddy Guy guitarist whose voice and fretwork bring a new edge to Foghat’s sound.

Together, they deliver a show that is raw, real, and rocking, honoring the past while charging full throttle into the future.

With eight Gold records, one Platinum, one Double Platinum, and a new #1 Blues album under their belt, Foghat is not just reliving the glory days. They are making new ones. They also received a plaque in 2025 for twenty-five million streams of SLOW RIDE on Apple Music. Quite the accomplishment for a 55-year-old band!!

Obviously, the Slow Ride 50th Anniversary Tour was not just a celebration of a classic song, it is proof that Foghat is still blazing down the highway of rock ‘n’ roll, pedal to the metal. They had a great run of shows in 2025 across the U.S. and culminated in a short tour of the UK, which was a long-time wish, after not playing there for 52 years, The 2026 TWANG & BANG tour is now in full swing with many new and exciting projects on the horizon! Both a new LIVE album and a new STUDIO album are in the works for 2026, and the band is on fire and having way too much fun!
